Alerts / Messaging / Pickup · For K–12 districts

Everyone hears it. Everyone’s accounted for.

AllCall sends a closure to every family in their own language, puts a lockdown in every staff member’s hand in seconds, and makes sure every child goes home with the right adult.

Works alongside the panic alert system your district already has.

How it works

Two channels. They never cross.

Alerts carry the school’s authority. Conversations carry relationships. AllCall keeps them in separate tabs with separate rules, so an emergency is never buried under a group chat.

  • 01Class channels, staff rooms and team channels
  • 02An office desk that answers each parent once
  • 03Incident rooms for admins and responders
  • 04Text and email bridges, so teachers never share a personal number
Severity tiers

Four tiers decide everything.

Senders pick a template and an audience. The tier picks the channels, the quiet hours and whether anyone can opt out.

Tier 1 · Emergency

Lockdown, secure, hold, evacuate, shelter

For the minutes that matter most. Staff and responders first, families the moment an admin releases it.

Tier 1 · Lockdown

A lockdown, second by second.

Built on the Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter actions your staff already drill. Scroll to follow one from the first tap to the parent message.

+0 seconds

A teacher holds the button.

Two seconds, even from a locked phone. Any staff member can start it, and a swipe confirms the action so nobody sends one by accident.

Under 10 seconds

Every adult on campus knows.

Critical alerts break through silent mode. Classroom screens go full screen and the PA plays the message. Students get a silent alert, because a ringing phone gives away a hiding place.

Under 10 seconds

Responders see the building.

Police, the school resource officer and dispatch get the alert with a live floor plan. They see student data only while the incident is active, and every view is logged.

The first few minutes

Every room checks in.

Safe, need help, missing student or extra students. Anyone who hasn’t answered in 3 minutes gets a phone call, and the command view shows who is still unaccounted for.

Within 10 minutes

Parents hear it from you first.

One tap releases the pre-written holding message in every family’s language. If no admin can, it releases itself on the district’s schedule.

Times shown are AllCall’s delivery targets, not measured results.

Pickup and reunification

Practice reunification every afternoon.

The pass a parent shows in the car line is the same pass they show at a reunification site. On the worst day, nobody is learning something new.

Screenshots don’t work

The code changes every 30 seconds.

Delegate passes

Send grandma a one-day pass in three taps.

Pair scan

Student badge and guardian pass must match before release.

Works with no signal

Scans verify offline and sync later.

Room and muster codes

Know who is in every room and at every assembly point.

Every release logged

Who, when, where, and which ID was checked.

For every role

Six roles. Each sees only its own tools.

A role is assigned per school, so a teacher at one school can be a parent at another, with one sign-in and a role switcher.

Families

One account. Every school.

A public district for two kids and a private school for the third? One email for all of them? AllCall finds each child, confirms them with a birth date, and keeps each school system’s information separate.

Contact plus a second check

A matching phone or email is never enough on its own. Each child is confirmed with a birth date or a school invite code.

Schools stay separate

Westbrook never learns that Dana also belongs to Cedar Hill. Each school sees only its own families.

Shared family email

Each adult signs in with their own phone. A shared inbox gets each alert once, not twice.

Beyond schools

Ready for any building full of people.

The same alerts, check-ins and QR passes, with each industry’s own roles, protocols and rules. Schools come first.

Hospitals

Plain-language facility, medical and security alerts by unit and shift, and infant security pair scans.

Planned

Hotels

Staff safety buttons, and guest alerts that join by room code and end at checkout.

Planned

Senior living

Family notices and resident outing passes built on the same release flow.

Planned

Campuses and venues

Shift muster roll calls and alerts only for the people at tonight’s event.

Planned

Designed around the rules schools live by.

FERPA

Student data stays under the school’s control. Never sold, never used for ads.

COPPA

Student accounts are created only by the school.

School texting rules

Every send is tagged emergency or not, with consent tracked.

WCAG 2.1 AA

Built accessible on every screen from day one.

Audit log

Every send, scan and release, ready for records requests.
